Departmental Activities 

The Department has started publishing a literary and cultural magazine ‘Subhasini’ for the development of literary talent of students.

Department organized a three day's National Seminar on “Premchand aur Hamara Samaya” Feb 1-3, 2006, which was attended by 45 scholars including Prof. Kunwar Pal Singh, Prof. Sambhu Nath, Prof. Kumar Pankaj, Prof. Chaman Lal, Prof. Naval Kishor, Prof. Ramvir  Singh and Prof. Pradeep Saxena.

The students association organizes various programmes such as Hindi Divas, Tulsi Jayanti, Stage Dramas and Kavi Sammellan.  It also organizes lectures from eminent personalities from Indian Literature on various occasions.
