Faculty of Education aims
to train human resource as educational leaders and as experienced educators with knowledge and skills. The overall aim of Faculty programme is to promote and
support educational scholarship, research and practices. Its innovative programme
attracts students from different states and ethnic backgrounds.
The Faculty came
into being in 1962, when the College of Education was established. The Faculty
made a move for the creation of popular departments to cater to the new area of
education. As a result the Department of Physical Education came into being in
1985.
New skills and strength of thinking are synthesised into regular practices
and experiences. The teaching is characterized by clarity, repertoire
examples, analogies, demonstration. By deploying arsenal of techniques, the Faculty guides students
into active consideration of a vital, intellectual curiosities.
