The division of Clothing and Textiles is a rich department with conglomerate perspectives of tradition and modernity. With tradition as the base of knowledge and modern perspectives as outgrowth we aim to train home scientist for the development of self as an individual as well as a worthy component of the society.
The Post Graduation Programme offers detailed theory base and concrete practical knowledge. Thrust areas of researches undertaken in the department include documentation of Textile traditions, Textile designing, Apparel designing, Modifying dyeing behaviour , eco-friendly dyeing processes and marketing related studies. |
