The division of Human Development covers the domains of development in human being from the life spam perspective, examine the interaction between the child and socio-cultural systems, promote competence in the scientific study & research and comprehend the use of relevant assessment of children.
The division offers courses at UG level & PG level in B.A., B.Sc. (Home Science) course and M.Sc. (Home Science) Human Development. Research taken up as student’s project is a part of PG curriculum and Ph.D. The department is also engaged in research project sponsored by UNICEF.
The family of Human Development seeks to apply developmental theory and study research issues such as cultural diversity, gender equity & academic achievement with reference to typical and high risk populations. |
