Banasthali Vidyapith, the highest NAAC accredited (A++) university, is thrilled to host a landmark event that promises to bring together the finest women table tennis players from across the region - the West Zone Inter University Table Tennis (Women) Tournament, 2023-2024!

We are delighted to extend an invitation to universities across the West Zone to partake in an electrifying event - the Inter-University Table Tennis Women's Tournament. Set to be one of the largest gatherings of its kind, this competition will see the participation of over 80 universities, making it a truly exhilarating showcase of talent and sportsmanship.

This tournament aims to spotlight our female athletes' remarkable skills and competitive spirit. More than just a sporting event, it is an opportunity to witness the prowess of these talented women as they compete for glory and represent their respective universities with pride.

 

Fixture: Table Tennis Fixture

 

Instructions For the Participating Universities:

1. The Tournament will commence on 26 November 2023 at Banasthali Vidyapith. Matches will be played in the indoor Table Tennis Hall.

2. Formal opening ceremony will take place on 26 November 2023. Teams are requested to participate in the opening ceremony with their university flag and uniform.

3. Opening matches will start immediately after the formal opening ceremony.

4. All the teams are advised to report at the venue well in advance because in case of the withdrawal of the teams, the next match would be played immediately after a gap of 15 minutes. All expenses on transport shall be born by the participating university.

5. Matches shall be played according to the T.T. F.I. rules as adopted by the A.I.U.

6. All the participating universities are requested to inform us of the date, time of their arrival, and mode of journey in the enclosed proforma to the organizing secretary well in advance to enable us to make necessary arrangements.

7. Managers are requested to hand over the following attested documents signed by the competent authority as per A.I.U. Rules at the time of registration.

a. Eligibility Performa in quadruplicate (4 copies)

b. 10th Class Certificate (DOB proof) and 10+2 class certificate of Marks

c. Aadhar Card and Degree certificate (if applicable)

d. University identity cards of the players.

e. University Flags (Two)

f. Migration certificate (if applicable)

g. Non-employment certificate of the players duly signed by the players & the director of physical education.

8. Registration of the teams will be made at the Sports Complex (Table Tennis Hall lobby) Banasthali Vidyapith.

9. The meeting of the officials and managers accompanying the team will be held on 25.11.2023 at the Sports Complex at 7.00 P.M.

10. Unfurnished lodging will be provided to participating teams on arrival. The teams are requested to bring their own bedding, woolen cloths, lock, and key and deposit a sum of Rs. 2000/- towards security money to the reception committee at the time of arrival here, which will be refunded after submitting the no dues certificate at the time of their departure. The accommodations for the teams would be provided in the university's hostels.

11. The managers have to pay Rs.1500/- as a match fee (officiating charges) and regarding to M.R.P. For ball charges fee to the organizing secretary before the commencement of their match.

12. The matches in the morning session will start at 7.30 A.M. The afternoon session will start at 2.00 P.M. onwards.

13. All the teams should carefully note the match schedule and Table of the matches given in the fixtures and reach the hall well in advance before the scheduled time for the match. All the tables will be operated simultaneously.

14. Non-vegetarian food is prohibited on the campus; pure vegetarian food will be served.

15. Team managers should obtain the coupons for meals well in advance.

16. Stag supreme 3-star ball will be used for all the matches in the tournament.

17. No objection shall be entertained regarding tables and equipment.

18. The organising secretary reserves the right to change the schedule of the programme of the competition. The decision of the organising committee shall be final with regard to the matters concerning the tournament.
