Diploma in Internet & Web Designing

The course is mainly focused on Internet and its services and web design. After completion of the course the students will be able to design web pages using Java programming, HTML and ASP.
Module -I
Computer Networks concepts, Overview of OSI model, Introduction to TCP/IP, Structure of Internet, Concepts of IP Addressing, Naming services, and Domain name server, Various services of Internent, e-mail, Search Engines, Downloading, Chatting, Video Conferencing. Module -II Web Server and Browsers, Web Documents, HTML and its features, Embedding of Images, Audio and Video, Web Designing Tools (Front Page., Express, Visual InterDev, etc.), Concept of Dynamic Web Pages using , JavaScript and VB Script, Server side ,programming and Database Interfacing, Introduction to ASP. Module -III OOP Concepts, Basic features of Java, Variables and Data Types, Operation and Expression, Control Constructs, Objects and Classes in Java, Essential Java Classes and packages, Vector, I/O, Exception Handling, Threads and programming with Thread. Module -IV Lab Work (i) Java Programming (ii) Web page Designing & Hosting project The students need to design and develop a project using Web programming skills. |
