About the Conference:
Banasthali University, a national institution for women’s education is one and only of its kind university located amidst picturesque rural setting in Rajasthan, offering an integrated comprehensive system of education extending from the primary to the doctoral level through to its fully residential campus. Vidyapith has always been conscious of its role and responsibilities as a university for women. As we know, old order changes yielding place to new. So is the women’s role today. Therefore, the time has come to redefine the vision and mission of women universities in the era of globalization and to understand what women’s education would mean in years to come.
To this end, the Vidyapith is organizing an International Conference, Jubilee Conference on Women’s Education : Vision and Mission of Women’s Universities in Global Society to commemorate the Jubilee year of the establishment of the university. The conference intends to reexamine the following issues:

Paper submission:
In addition to plenary talks, invited talks and Panel discussion, Participants are invited to contribute their full papers for paper presentation as well as for poster presentation. The electronic submission of the paper will be accepted through the conference website or through e-mail (jcwe@bv.banasthali.ac.in; jcwe@banasthali.ac.in). The papers will be reviewed and the authors of the short listed papers will be notified. They will then be required to send a camera ready manuscript in the prescribed format to be included in the conference proceedings which is planned to be kept ready at the time of the conference.
