Apaji Institute of Mathematics & Applied Computer Technology was constituted in 1999 with the building "ICICI Center for Advanced Studies in Computer Science" constructed from generous donation of Rs 1 crore granted by ICICI. Soon after in 2001 it planned to broadbase its activities to meet the shortfall in trained IT professionals in the country and opened its jaipur campus at C-Scheme,a central location in jaipur.
At present Apaji Institute has more than 1000 students in its post-graduate Programmes, and about 1500 in under-graduate programmes and more than 5000 PG students have graduated over the last 11 years. Most of them have secured highly respectable jobs for themselves in industry as well as in institutions of higher learning. Major IT companies of India include Banasthali University in the list of their campus placement programme. For past many years the institute is having 100% placement record in companies such as HCL infotech, Perot Systems, Infosys Technologies, IBM Global Services, satyam, TCS, WIPRO, IBM, Accenture and the packages offered to our best students is comparable to the best in the industry. A large number of our recent graduates are working for leading multinationals in USA and Europe.
The Institute has world class faculty in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Physics and Bio-Informatics. Faculty is very active in research and development and has representation in many national and international conferences in India and abroad. The institute has completed many research projects and is constantly having research and development projects funded by government and private organizations.
