Minimum Eligibility
The minimum eligibility for various courses is as given below :

  • M.Phil.(Mathematical Sciences) : M.A./ M.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operations Research/Applied Mathematics from the Vidyapith or recognized examinations equivalent thereto with aggregate equal to or more than 55% marks.
     
  • M.Tech.(Computer Science/Software Engineering): B.E./ B.Tech.(Computer Science/ Engg)/M.Sc. (Comp.Sc.)/ MCA/ M.Sc. (Maths: Theoratical Computer Science) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

  • M.Tech.(Information Technology): B.Tech./ B.E./ B.Sc./ (Engg.)in CS/ IT/ ECE/ EE or MCA/ M.Sc.(IT/ CS/ Physics/ Mathematics) or any other equivalent degree in CS/ IT from a recognized university with 55% marks.
     
  • M.Tech.(VLSI Design) : B.E./B.Tech.(CS/Electronics), MCA/ M.Sc.(CS), M.Sc.(Electronics) with 55% marks.
     
  • MCA/PGDCA : 60% aggregate marks in Graduation(Pass/Honours).
     
  • M.Sc. (Computer Science): 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Pass/Honours) with Computer Science or B.A.(Pass/Honors) with Computer Applications or BCA or PGDCA.

  • M.Sc.(Mathematical Sciences) : (Pure Mathematics/Theoretical Computer Science/Operations Research Statistics) : 60% aggregate in B.Sc. (Pass/Honours) with Mathematics.

  • M.Sc.(Electronics) : 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc.(Pass/Honours) with Mathematics and Electronics or Physics or Computer Maintenance.

  • M.Sc.(Physics) : 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc.(Pass/Honours) with Mathematics and Physics.

  • M.Sc.(Bioinformatics)/PG Diploma in BioInformatics : B.Sc.(Biotechnology/Life Sciences).

  • B.Tech. (CS/EC/IT/CE/BT): 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics(PCM).

  • B.Sc. (Computer Science as an elective) : 60% aggregate in SSE (10+2) with Mathematics.

  • B.Sc. (Electronics/Physics as an elective) : 60% aggregate in SSE(10+2) with Mathematics/ Physics.

     

    Please note that there is negative marking. Each correct question has one mark, whereas a wrong question carries (-1/4) marks.

    In all matters rules and bye-laws of the University will be binding Admission to the courses run by Apaji Institute is based on the performance in the qualifying examination and the performance in the Aptitude Test. The weightages of the aggregate in qualifying exam marks and the marks of Aptitude test are equal.

    Based on the performance on the aptitude test and the academic record of the qualifying examination the selected candidates will be offered admission and shall be called on a specific date to complete admission  procedure. The candidate  must  report for admission on given date,  failing which the admission will be cancelled.

    Candidates appearing for Aptitude test for B.A./B.Sc./BCA/ B.Tech. shall preferably have to produce their final result at the time of appearing for the Test or should arrange to send it to the institute latest by 4 June, 2010, failing which they will be treated as ineligible. For the postgraduate programmes the applicants MUST attach complete marksheet (s) upto the II year or final year examination (if available) failing which their application will be summarily rejected.

    Banasthali University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student, if it is found that their original documents were manipulated. Even if it is discovered that the student has hidden certain facts which would have rendered her ineligible, or found to be ineligible as a result of revision of marks at a later stage here admission shall be cancelled and she shall be separated from the University.

    For the purposes of preparation of merit for the various PG courses of the Apaji Institute qualifying examination marks shall be aggregate of marks of the first two years or, aggregate marks whichever is higher. The last date for submission of marksheet of qualifying examination and all other relevant documents are applicable such as Migration Certificate is 30 November, 2010.

    Admission to M.Sc. (Mathematical Sciences) Programme with specialization in Pure Mathematics, Theoretical Computer Science, Operation Research & Statistics is based on merit. Admission to M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc.(Electronics), M.Sc. (BioInformatics) and PG Diploma in Bioinformatics are also based on merit The institute reserves the right not to offer any particular course/ specialization in case the number of applicants are too few.

     

The  Minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude Test for students passing the qualifying  examination from  Banasthali University will be 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination

The Minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude test for SC/ST applicants for all these courses is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission to select courses (+ in the list above) is based on a combined merit of  marks obtained in the aptitude test and marks in the qualifying examination with equal weightage. For such courses the Applicants who fail to appear in the Aptitude Test will not be considered under any circumstances. For all other courses admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination

Note:

1. If the credit point is awarded under category No. 1 - 4, total    credit points will not be greater the 5%. If addition  the credit points are also awarded under category Nos. 5-6, total credit  points not be greater than 7%.  
        
2. Old students who have passed the last examination from Banasthali and have studied in the Universit for  a period of 5 years or less will be awarded 5 credit points and for additional year 1% credit.

3. Maximum credit points that may be awarded under all categories is 10%.
