1.     Indian Ethos and Indian Management: Thought and Practices

Focus: Primarily, development of models and interventions, based on traditional Indian wisdom, which would blend more effectively with the Indian cultural context. Additionally, studying the healthy practices prevalent in Indian organizations and analyze their role in the development of individuals and society.

OMRISE: OMRISE is a Research Group that focuses on Organizational Management (OM), Research (R), Innovation (I) and Sustainable Entrepreneurship (SE). 2.     Entrepreneurship and Startups

Banasthali Vidyapith, ‘the world's largest residential university for women's education' has partnered with NITI Aayog for setting up world class Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) at Banasthali. It is a one-of-its-kind Business Incubator in India solely focusing on women startups. The AIC serves as a platform for nurturing innovative ideas, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting innovators, mentoring youth in general and women in particular.

 

The Incubator is also supported by Ministry of MSME, Department of Science & Technology (GoI), DPIIT and Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) through which it offers Seed Funding opportunities to its startups.

 

AIC envisions fostering an entrepreneur-friendly culture around academics & research through its state-of-the-art Incubation Center and a customized ‘Hybrid' Incubation Program especially designed keeping in mind challenges of women entrepreneurs. The AIC with the vision to build "National Centre for Women Entrepreneurship" offers world class infrastructure, modern equipment & operating facilities, highly customized solutions, sectoral experts, huge industry network, funding opportunities and a safe ecosystem for women startups.

 

The incubator is well collaborated with various Government Agencies, Corporate, National & International partners for offering wide platforms for startups to leverage the network. The AIC brings academicians, researchers, budding entrepreneurs, startups, mentors, and investors at one place with a wide variety of extensive world-class labs in the areas of Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printers, MATLAB, Life Sciences, Electronics, Bio-Technology, in-house Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Pharmacy and Design.

Taking a revolutionary step in promoting the spirit of Entrepreneurship at the highest level, Vidyapith has established E-cell. The cell is run & managed by students and takes initiatives in promoting Entrepreneurship in Women, orienting them and motivating them to see Entrepreneurship as a career option.

Over the past years, the cell has created a lot of excitement in students starting from school education to higher education, Banasthali's Alumnae and women of nearby villages. The Entrepreneurship Cell has oriented more than 13000 women over the years. The aspiring entrepreneurs are routinely exposed to inbound and outbound activities such as Impact Talks, where women entrepreneurs who have created impact through their work visit the campus for sharing their experiences, various workshops and competitions and social immersion activities are regularly conducted to give right orientation on Entrepreneurship to women. The Cell looks forward to creating an ecosystem to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship and also to create livelihood opportunities for rural women through entrepreneurship. 3.     Personal Finance

Bank of America Centre of Excellence for Financial Planning Training and Research for Women at Banasthali Vidyapith is the first-of-its-kind effort by any University in India to spread financial planning awareness & practice among women at village, school/college levels and conducting research at both basic and advanced level.

 

B.A. Continuum India Pvt Ltd (A wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America) is the key supporter of this project and has donated a generous grant under CSR. The CFPTRW has also received support from Icetrail Logistics and Banasthali alumnae for boosting financial literacy and research.

CFPTRW is working towards boosting financial literacy among women including rural women, working women and girl students by adopting an integrated approach while linking research to these three target groups. The centre provides financial literacy, digital financial literacy to working women, students and rural women covering more than 11000 women over the years. 4.     Corporate Governance
 

National Center for Corporate Governance (NCCG) at Banasthali Vidyapith focuses on research in core concepts of Corporate Governance, Women Leadership, Indian Ethos in Governance and allied areas. The Center is accredited by National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG), New Delhi. https://www.nfcg.in/

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India has set up the National Foundation for Corporate Governance in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Subsequently, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, National Stock Exchange and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs also joined with an objective to promote good Corporate Governance practices both at the level of individual corporates and Industry as a whole.
